French Music Promotions in the UK (FMP) was created in July 2008 by Lia Neal who felt that there was a gap in the market for French music in the UK.
The main aim of this site is to promote French artists in the form of a blog by posting the latest news of popular French artists (i.e. Matt Pokora and Mylène Farmer) including clips of the latest songs in the French charts (as well as the official Singles/Albums charts).
Another aim of this site is to get French artists recognised in the UK – this could be by getting Radio Stations to play a selection of French charts hits; as well as getting the major retailers (i.e. HMV and iTunes UK) to stock the latest singles and albums in their stores.

Hello, I’ve just found your blog – I like it a lot! I also write an English-language blog about French music; my blog is more into indie and alternative music, but with plenty of pop like Yelle and Superbus. (Also, because I’m Irish and I live in Paris, I often write about Irish bands playing in France, or French acts in Ireland.)
Anyway, I’m very happy to find another English language blog about French music
My blog is called ‘French Letter’. It’s been going since March 2007 and I have lots of videos in my posts, so feel free to browse through and find more videos!!
Maybe we could swap links. Bonne continuation!
Aidan
